Iris 30″ Ultra Light Parachute w/ Spectra Lines – 2.6lbs @ 15fps

Parachute crafted with Spectra Lines and bridle, 0.66 oz ripstop. Iris Ultra Light Parachutes are the perfect solution for UAVs and drones where ultra low weight and compact packing volume are critical.

Packing volume assumes a packing density of .18 oz / cu” which is typical of a deployment bag. Traditional fold and wrap with a packing density of ~ 0.13.

 

Features

These chutes use 200# Spectra shroud lines to lower weight as much as 30% over the standard chute of the same size. The SUL parachutes use a new 0.66 oz Nylon Rip-stop fabric to lower weight even more.

All the Iris chutes feature toroidal shape which results in a Cd of at least 2.2. This means you can use a size smaller chute for the same load carrying performance.
