Applications
UAV and UGV communication has never achieved this versatility…until now.
Silvus Technologies introduces groundbreaking communications solutions for high bandwidth video, C2, health and telemetry data. With priceless experience gained through defense-funded R&D contracts, Silvus developed a versatile data-link that delivers everywhere in-between.
Using a proprietary self-healing, self-forming mesh network that unites multiple assets, Silvus is your single-radio solution to enable convoy, relay and swarm capability between multiple manned and unmanned systems.
Unmanned Aerial Systems
Silvus StreamCaster radios equip your teams with reliable bi-directional UAV communication for high-speed data and high-resolution video transfers in unpredictable environments.
Traditional Tier 1 and 2 systems are separate line-of-sight communications links for video and C2. These systems often have trouble maintaining connectivity when flying at lower altitude in high scatter or non-line-of-sight environments. Silvus’ robust RF and proprietary networking protocols provide a self-healing, self-forming mesh network that self-optimizes, requiring no operator involvement.
Critical UAV Communication Applications
- ISR
- IED detections
- Swarm/mesh operation
- Relay/range extension
- Battlefield data dissemination
- Law enforcement
- SIGINT/EW
- UAV/UGV teaming
- Manned/unmanned teaming
- Agriculture
- Infrastructure inspection
- Border Security
Unmanned Ground Systems
Robotics missions require dependable communications that perform reliably in scenarios where operator involvement ranges from impractical to impossible.
Silvus StreamCaster radios excel in nonline-of-sight tele-robotics missions in harsh urban environments and remote locations. Penetrate deep into buildings, culverts and other complex structures at a safe distance with a bi-directional signal that automatically shifts between 15+ discreet operating modes to adapt dynamically to changing channel conditions.
For All Unmanned Ground Applications
- Bomb detection/disposal (IED/IOD)
- Hazmat
- Route Clearance
- Medivac
- Supply
- Combat engineering
- UAV/UGV teaming
- Manned/unmanned teaming
Unmanned Surface Systems
Silvus StreamCaster radios are able to harness signals reflected on the water to increase the reliability and robustness of surface communications. What was previously a cause for interference is now an asset that increases range, throughput and reliability for real-time transmission of video and data.
With self healing self-forming mesh network capability, Silvus radios are a flexible solution for multi-vessel operations.
- ISR
- Swarm/mesh operation
- Relay/range extension
- Manned/unmanned teaming
- Ship-to-ship
- Ship-to-shore
Airborne ISR Applications
An entirely new breed of airborne ISR communications
Silvus Technologies takes airborne ISR communications to the next level. Confidently connect your command post, mission aircraft HQ and every other mobile or stationary field asset. Silvus’ MN-MIMO technology creates a reliable high-throughput connection between your air and ground assets that easily outperforms legacy FM and COFDM systems.
Advanced multiple input multiple output (MIMO) antenna techniques enable you to combine downlink video with high-speed uplink/downlink data in a single frequency bi-directional or mesh communication system. Achieve superb spectral efficiency, enhanced range and reliable performance in a variety of environments, from pure line-of-sight to extreme non-line-of-sight.
