Description
pingStation All-Weather Network Ready ADS-B Receiver by uAvionix.
This dual band (978MHz and 1090MHz), networkable ADS-B receiver comes with a Power-Over-Ethernet (POE) interface enclosed in an IP67 rated protective enclosure.
It provides ground, surface, or low-altitude ADS-B surveillance within line of sight of the antenna. Range is dependent upon the output power of the transmitting ADS-B transceiver.
Robust Design, Easy Installation, Scalable
pingStation is robust enough for outdoor permanent mount even in harsh environmental conditions. In addition, it is also small enough for use as a mobile asset for roaming operations.
Plus, installation is simple. The kit comes complete with pole mount bracket and requires a single POE cable which provides both power and data communications. An integrated GPS provides position and precision time-stamping for messaging.
Network multiple pingStations together to provide a wide area low-altitude surveillance volume. Data messages are available in JSON or Compressed VRS.
Dual Band ADS-B Receiver
Features a dual-band receiver, pingStation is powered by the groundbreaking uAvionix ping firmware defined radio. pingStation receives ADS-B equipped aircraft over 200 miles away on both 978MHz (UAT) and 1090ES.
As an added benefit, the dedicated ping ADS-B radio offers extremely low power consumption, more dynamic range and much less heat generation when compared with SDR solutions.
Ready for All Weather Conditions
An IP67 rated enclosure protects the pingStation. Robust enough for permanent mount outdoors in harsh environmental conditions; small enough for use as a mobile asset for roaming operations.
Installation is simple. Kit includes a pole mount bracket and a single POE cable providing both power and data.
Easy to Deploy
Easy to deploy, ping Station is also supported by a growing list of industry applications.
Have a custom application that needs ADS-B data?
pingStation sends JSON over UDP for easy integration. View the ICD for more details.
Integration with Existing Applications
AirBOSS by INDMEX
AirBOSS Web provides a simple and intuitive Internet browser tool that provide a real-time common operational picture visualization of aircraft and vehicle movement in the airport.
Virtual Radar Server
Virtual Radar Server is an open-source .NET application that runs a local web server. You can connect to the web server with any modern browser and see the aircraft plotted on a Google Map.
IRIS UAS
IRIS UAS by Konsberg Geospatial is a situational awareness platform developed to provide UAS operators with necessary situational awareness to safely operate UAVs Beyond Visual Line-of-Sight (BVLOS).
Expandable Network
Need greater coverage? pingStation installation is completely scalable. Network multiple pingStation receivers to create an ADS-B surveillance network. Multiple pingStations may be networked together to provide a wide area low-altitude surveillance volume.
Data messages are in JSON format as described within the PingStation ICD.
